OpenStudy (experimentx):

hold on a sec

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

Complex numbers is trigonometric form ------ value[cos(theta)+i*sin(theta)]

OpenStudy (experimentx):

-5e^(i Pi/2)

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

here the magnitude is 5 and the angle is (3*pi/2) so in trig form f(x)= 5(Cos[270]+iSin[270]

OpenStudy (hang254):

Alright, thanks for the help guys!

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

u can check it cos 270˚ = 0 sin 270˚ = -1 so 5(Cos[270]+iSin[270] =5(-i)=-5i

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

no pro :)
