Not really sure what this question is asking... help!! The clouds of jupiter are composed mostly of NH3 formed by a synthesis reaction between H2 and N2. Assuming all of the substances are gaseous, express the law of conservation of mass quantitatively for this reaction by completing the particle model drawing.
@JoannaBlackwelder @sweetburger
particle model drawing is?
I have no idea @aaronq
The only thing on the paper is an arrow pointing right
It says "complete" so it suggests that they gave you something to start with, is that the case? Nothing infront or behind of the arrow?
nope...
Oh i think i know what they want. They want you to represent the balanced equation with drawings ("ball-and-stick" models) of the molecules. So write the balanced equation for this first.
N2 + 3H2 --> 2NH3 right @aaronq
thats good, now you gotta draw those in their place. so 1 nitrogen molecules + 3 hydrogen molecules -> 2 nitrogen molecules
I'm not really sure how to do that...
okay, try to draw them with the drawing tool and i'll correct you. Just look at the number of atoms and connect them
i mean "-> 2 ammonia molecules" not nitrogen sorry lol

Thats great ! you should use capitals when needed though. Nitrogen should be "N", not "n".
so would that be my final answer?
yep
thank you so much!
no problem !
