A tuning fork of frequency 440 Hz is held above an air column that is gradually increased in length. What is the length of the air column that will produce the second resonance position when the speed of sound is 336 m/s? (Assume closed-air column resonance.) V=λf λ=v/f L=λ/4 = (336m/s)/(440s-1) 0.7636m/4 = 0.7636m =0.191m that is my attempt at an answer, wasn't sure if anything different needed to be done since it says second resonance?
