How many electrons should be added to balance the following oxidation half-reaction, H2O2 arrow 2 H+ + O2? Answer None One Two Four
This is the last one I'm not quite sure about.
I'm torn between none and two.
@Abmon98
not quite sure.. the reading's rather thin...online course, and even the teacher doesn't really like how they're teaching things, but it takes forever to send an email and get a response
H2O2-->2H++O2+2e- because there 2 hydrogens present we balanced it by adding two electrons. i am not sure
yeah, I selected two, but I'm not sure either. *Sigh* I guess I'll have my friend's dad, the chemical engineer look over the quiz before submission...don't really want to bother him though, he's already pretty busy Thanks for your help!! You were very helpful - I'm pretty sure those other two answers are right. :D :D
*engineer, to
that would be a great idea, your most welcome :D
