What is the heat absorbed if 2.005g of sodium chloride is dissolved in water? NaCl(s) + H2O + 3.88kJ -> Na^+(aq) + Cl^-(aq) (Additionally, is there somewhere I can go to practice more problems similar to this? Can't find any.) Never mind. Figured it out! Turns out it was simple... (2.005g)(1 mol/58.45g) [NaCl] = 0.034 moles (0.034 mol)(3.88kJ) / 1 mol = 0.13192 kJ
