OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

not sure there's a formula for the partial summation so... you may end up just doing it by a plain sum of each term

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How? ;c

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well 3(2)-4 1st +3(3)-4 2nd +3(4)-4 3rd +3(5)-4 4th +3(6)-4 5th +3(7)-4 6th +3(8)-4 7th +3(9)-4 8th +3(10)-4 9th

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So you find that, then add all the values?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 100 ;o

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmm I got a bit bigger number, 155

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:c 155 isnt an answer choice though D;

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

right I was saying .. but the site got a bit lagged yours is correct... I just added extra anyhow -> https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=(3*2-4)%2B(3*3-4)%2B(3*4-4)%2B(3*5-4)%2B(3*6-4)%2B(3*7-4)%2B(3*8-4)%2B(3*9-4)&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest&gws_rd=ssl
