PLEASE HELP ME I'M RUNNING OUT OF TIME!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the one with the biggest y-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know f(x) and h(x) are 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is g(x)??? is it 0???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y intercept when x=0 f(0)= -4 g(0)= 0 the other one h(0)= -2 so yes you're right! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so g(x) is the greatest intercept?? @study100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

go go, time's running out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much!!! do you mind helping on one more??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(1 - cos T)(1 + cosT) / (1 - sin T)(1 + sin T) "T" stands for theta! Just simplify :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i THINK it simplifies out to be 1 - cos^2 T / 1 - sin^1 T.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But I know you can further simplify it, so I'm not sure if that's right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

remember that cos^2x + sin^2x = 1 So 1-cos^2x= sin^2x and 1-sin^2x= cos^2x multiply those in you'd get 1-cos^2x /1-sin^2x plug those things in!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what did you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're right on track so far, but you can simplify more. You're right though :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure how to simplify it from here really : / @study100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it sin^2 T / cos^2 T?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@study100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only problem is that there's no answer for that : / can you simplify it further?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pic me or type me the answer choices

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yes wait simplify it to tan^2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since sin/cos = tan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so tan^2 T???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they have that?? Yes :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@study100 YES!!! Thank you so much!!! I appreciate your help a lot! :)))))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Np, just glad you didn't run out of time. Made it.
