I need someone to check another question for me. It will be below.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The question \[\frac{ 5 }{ w-1 }\times \frac{ w-1 }{ 25w-50 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My answer.\[\frac{ 1 }{ 5(w-2) }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dumbcow

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dumbcow i have 2 more questions i just need to make sure their correct. if you could just say yes or no.

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

yes

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

for future reference, here is an online calculator you could use to check answers as well http://www.wolframalpha.com/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The question \[\frac{ 9-r^2 }{ r^2-2r-3 }\times \frac{ 3-4r^2 }{ r^2+4r+3 }\] and sweet i could of really used that a minute ago.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and my answer \[\frac{ 4(r-1) }{ (r+1) }\]

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

wait, i think you are right, just had a typo in the question

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

you had a 2nd one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh sorry i was trying to figure out the calculator you gave me. and was i right?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

haha no problem, yes you are right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and my last question. i just realized that it wasnt one of the answers so can you help me figure it out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dumbcow

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 3c^2 }{ c^2-2c }\times \frac{ c^2-4 }{ c }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is what i got so far from factoring it\[\frac{ ? }{ c(c-2) }\times \frac{ (c-2)(c+2 }{ c }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont know about the top of the first one

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

it would just stay "3c^2"

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

multiply the c's on bottom to get ---> c^2 (c-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to get c^2-2c?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

no that will just get you back where you started the "c" on bottom in other fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

\[\frac{3c^2 (c-2)(c+2)}{c^2 (c-2)}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay and would the (c-2) cancel out on top and bottom?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

yes as well as the c^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so my answer would be 3(c+2)

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sweet thank you! thats all i have.

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

yw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have a nice night!

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

you too... feel free to tag me if you have more questions
