The function g(x) is a transformation of the parent function f(x). Decide how f(x) was transformed to make g(x) I feel like the answer is A. If i'm wrong here are the other options http://imgur.com/iXHQ70O
i think its B... 'cause if it is reflection from y=x... it would not cross each other. the function y=x is a line passing thru' origin with a +1 slope... so the reflection will be below the y=x line... Reason why B... as I graph the points... it's somewhat the same behavior of f(x) as \(x\to \infty\), g(x) behaves the other way around as \(x\to-\infty\)...
@Orion1213 I have a couple more graphing function questions if you dont mind
ok what it is?
@Orion1213 Its looking like A and B to me
yes they are... but as i look over the graph of g(x), it seems it's axes had been shifted then flipped... so i chose D...
@orion1213 i could be wrong about the D that could be right but are A and B right also because i do have to check all that apply
if all statements that apply... i will choose A, C, and D.... but not B since once the axes are rotated... the asymptote of the rotated g(x) will also be rotated...
Alright @Orion1213 one more question i think i just need a 2nd opinion on this one f(x)=4^x is a parent function right?
ok?
what about it?
@Orion1213 It is a parent function right?
yes it is...
@Orion1213 alright thats it thankyou
what's bothering you about it?
