So this is a uhhh, kite? No no, looks like a parallelogram. Calculate area given the diagonal lengths? Hmmm...

We need information about the angle between the diagonals. I guess based on the picture, we should assume that it's 90 degrees? It looks like a right angle... Googling, I found that the area of a parallelogram can be calculated using:\[\Large\rm A=\frac{1}{2}d_1\cdot d_2 \cdot \sin\theta\]The angle between them is 90 degrees, sin90 = 1. So our formula simplifies to,\[\Large\rm A=\frac{1}{2}d_1\cdot d_2\]Where \(\Large\rm d_1\) and \(\Large\rm d_2\) are our diagonal lengths. Which in this case would be 4 and 6. (The 2 is only half of the diagonal length from the way I'm reading it).
