XBC = XCB --- Given XBC + XBA = 180 ----- Linear Pair XCB + XCD = 180 ----- Linear pair XBC + XBA = XCB + XCD But XBC = XCB Therefore XBA = XCD HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

@aryandecoolest thats what i was thinking , thats why i was ignoring that part for now. im just focused on the CD part .
ok so what i am thinking like.. C is a common angle for both triangle and already mentioned that AC=BC so in that from triangle CD and EC are common from both sides> so by SAS rule, both triangles are congruent so is the side CD=AB and yeah if D and E are mid points then CD=CE.
