Commercially available concentrated HCl contains 38% HCl by mass. What volume of concentrated HCl is required to make 1L of 0.1M HCl if the density is 1.19 gm/l ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1L of 0.1M HCl contain 0.1 mol HCl 0.1 mol HCl equal 3.645gr \[3.645 \times 100/38\] give you mass of concentrated HCl=9.586gr volume=\[9.586\div1.19\] result is 8.05mL concentrated HCl
