We're trying to find the surface area of a sphere. The information we have is the volume. We have to work backwards from the volume formula to get the radius. Then we use the radius to find the S.A.

in algebra, to get rid of something you use an inverse operation. here the inverse of something cubed, is taking the cubed root so:\[\huge \sqrt[\cancel3]{r^\cancel{3}} = \sqrt[3]{27cm^3} \]
