If both parents are heterozygous dominant. If the mom is Aa and dad is Aa, they both express phenotype A. however, they could each give the allele a to their offspring, producing an aa child. This child would possess the recessive a phenotype, while the parents express A. Genes must be Aa and Aa heterozygous like I said - Yahoo answers

In simplier terms, it needs to have two recessive genes in order for it to be exhibited. Like if it was Aa and Aa: |dw:1408752764546:dw| Out of 4, there would be a 25% of a child being recessive (aa) AA- Dominate Aa- Dominate (Because the A conquers the a in what gets expressed) aa- Recessive (There is no A to mask it so the recessive gets a chance to be expressed)
