What's the equation for a parabola?!?

\(\large y = ax^2 + bx + c\) is the general equation for a vertical parabola. For horizontal it is: \(\large x = ay^2 + by + c\)

Parabolas have usually three main ways to be represented. As such highlighting the y-intercept, c: \(y=ax^2+bx+c\) As such highlighting the vertex (d,c): \(y=a[k(x-d)]^2+c\) As such highlighting the x-intercepts r, and s: \(y=a(x-r)(x-s)\)
