chem
am i correct on both the first problem and the second problem?
I'm sorry, I'm terrible at chem.. @Abb0t would be incredibly useful at such a time.
This will help you understand this a bit better than I could explain. I use this as a reference also: http://www.chem.purdue.edu/gchelp/liquids/vpress.html
I'm a little confused by your drawing, but if I understand it right I think your second answer is wrong. the 1-butanol time is in minutes while the others are in seconds, so it should be higher.
it says 1min 4sec
I don't see any indication on how much time has passed for each of the changes in temp. Are they all the same?
that's how i came up with those times
what is temp min supposed to be?
temperature minimum and temp inital max is temperature maximum
but what do those mean? Is the minimum temperature the temperature at which the substance completely evaporated?
Anyways, in terms of your rankings, I think you're misplacing 1-butanol because its elapsed time was 1 min 4 sec. You seem to be treating it as 1.4 sec. Treat it as 64 seconds and your rankings change I think.
the minimum is at which the temperature went down and back up but was the minimum
