Use of the Data Booklet is relevant to this question. In which pairs do both species have the same number of unpaired p electrons? 1 O and Cl + 2 F+ and Ga– 3 P and Ne+ Ans 1 and 2 ( explain pls )

OpenStudy (somy):

draw the electronic configuration boxes for each element

OpenStudy (somy):

I'll do first one for you and u do the rest so O its electronic configuration is 1s2 2s2 2p4 and so now we'll draw (i'll draw the last shell only, which is 2s2 2p4) |dw:1409465524025:dw| now Cl - last shell configuration is 3s2 3p5 BUT they are showing that \( Cl^+\) which means it lost 1 electron so its configuration now is 3s2 3p4 so we'll draw it |dw:1409465582885:dw|
