if you burn 41.1 grams of hydrogen with 368 grams of water how much oxygen reacted

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Supposing you mean 41.1 g of H2 burned with oxygen to produce 368 grams of H2O. 2 H2 + O2 = 2 H2O (368 g H2O) / (18.01532 g H2O/mol) x (1 mol O2 / 2 mol H2O) x (31.99886 g O2/mol) = 327 g O2 Or, if you assume a complete reaction, you can use the Law of Conservation of Mass: 368 g H2O - 41.1 g H2 = 327 g O2
