Solve this equation: (MAVA = MBVB, (MA x 5.0 ml) = (5.2 ml x 0.10 M) 1. What is the difference between the end point and the equivalence point? 2. Why is important to correlate the end point and the equivalence point?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

divide both sides by 5.0 mL. The difference is told by this. after you divide. End point, in a titration, it is the point at which no further titrant should be added. im guessing at your level, youre doing this by color change. So, when the color remains constant.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Equivalence point occurs during an acid-base titration when equal amounts of acid and base have been reacted. This means, the point upon initlal change of color. When it goes from clear to pink, or yellow to orange...whatever youre using.
