OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Sketch the curve with the given polar equation by first sketching the graph of r as a function of theta in cartesian coordinate.

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

@ganeshie8 Ok so if I have a problem like this r = 2+sin theta |dw:1410646220122:dw|to make it into a polar coordinate then, just plug in points between 1 and 3, as r is the function of theta?

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Or so now I look at where it's increasing, decreasing to graph it.|dw:1410646623840:dw| so sort of like this?
