Why is it convenient to choose the same molarity for two solutions in a stoichiometric volume ratio lab? Is it even necessary?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

because it's easier to mix the reagents in the right proportions. For example, if you have both 1 M \(H_2SO_4\) and 1M NaOH, you could them in 1:2 ratio and avoid calculations. \(H_2SO_4+2~NaOH\rightarrow 2~H_2O+Na_2SO_4\) you could mix 50 mL H2SO4 and 100 mL NaOH

Thank you so much! @aaronq
