Which equations could model this problem? A 5 lb bag of potatoes costs $3. What is the unit price p per pound? Choose all answers that are correct. A. 3/5 =p B. 3p=5 C. 5/3=p D. 5p=3

OpenStudy (tbnrfrags):

its c

OpenStudy (tbnrfrags):

and d

OpenStudy (butterflyhope):

I think it's D because: 5p = 3 /5 /5 = p = 0.6 0.6 x 5 = 3.

OpenStudy (tbnrfrags):

you would take the amount of pounds and divide by the price, when you do that you will get 1.66666 etc etc then you turn the price into the P and plug it in instead of the price per pound you would use the P

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Hold on a sec

OpenStudy (butterflyhope):

No @TBNRfrags, I tried that it didn't work? Idk. Lol.

OpenStudy (tbnrfrags):

well the answer is C and D so you werent wrong just left out one of the answers :P

OpenStudy (butterflyhope):

OpenStudy (tbnrfrags):

OpenStudy (tbnrfrags):
