Find the number of moles of water that can be formed if you have 150mol of hydrogen gas and 70mol of oxygen gas.

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

1) balance out this reaction H2 + O2 = H20 2) Find the molecular weights 3) The lower moles is the limited reagent.

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

you don't need to calculate the molecular weights, you have already the moles of H2 and O2, Just balance the equation and find the ratio of moles of H2 to H2O and O2 to H2O, Then find how many moles of H2O can be formed with 150 moles of H2 and how many moles of water can be formed with 70 mol of O2. The smallest number is the number of mol of H2O that can be formed

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

^^^ yeah......i misread mol for ml.....
