Medal!!! How do you verify a trig identity graphically? Show examples

OpenStudy (girlover):

@satellite73

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill help u girllover bby

OpenStudy (girlover):

Do u know how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea babe

OpenStudy (girlover):

Yay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I like it when u say yay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think i got it babe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cos x / ((cos x/sin x − 5 cos x) -----> don't forget parentheses around denominator !! = (cos x (1/cos x))/ ((cos x/sin x − 5cos x)(1/cos x)) = 1 / (1/sinx − 5) = 1 / (cscx − 5) = RHS

OpenStudy (girlover):

Woa can u do that on the drawling thing so it doesn't have those question marks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uggg u make my life hard

OpenStudy (girlover):

I'm so sawry I can't understand what u typed above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok hold on k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What you did on LHS is somewhat correct. But you should have just multiplied numerator and denominator by 1/cosx, since final answer has no sinx in numerator:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cos x / ((cos x/sin x − 5 cos x) don't forget parentheses around denominator !! = (cos x (1/cos x))/ ((cos x/sin x − 5cos x)(1/cos x ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why is it happening like that

OpenStudy (girlover):

Draw man

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im sorry cutie

OpenStudy (girlover):

I'll try to figure it out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no ill do it cupcake
