Could someone please explain to me how to balance an equation??? e.g. NaCl+H2SO4=Na2SO4+2HCl

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok count atoms on one side and theyir number has to be equal to count of atoms on right side of equation in order for equation to be balanced... now as for numbers, numbers after certain atom are related to that atom on the left ie in example of Na2SO4 there are 2 Na atoms, one S atom and 4 O atoms in that molecule, now when you balance equation you dont change that numbers you can only change numbers before molecules ie 2 NaCl or 3 NaCl or 4 NaCl etc. get it?
