hydrogen gas is explosive within the range of 4% - 75% v/v. Assuming that each student in your class produces 6L of H2 and that the lab is not ventilated, is there a danger of an explosion?

then you need to know how many students release gas (pun intended!) and you need to know lenght, height and width of lab. take lab measurements and multiply them to get volume of lab, after that take number of students and multiply by 6 L to get how much of gas they passed and then calculate volume percentage from that two numbers

is there a danger of explosion if there are 40 students?
