How many photons are produced in a laser pulse of 0.447 J at 539 nm?

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Find the energy of one photon: \[E = \frac{hc}{\lambda}\] Divide the total energy by the energy of one photon. That'll give you the total number of photons.

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Whoops, where 'h' is Planck's constant, c is the speed of light in whichever medium you're considering in meters/sec, and lambda is the wavelenth of light in meters.
