What concentration of ClO3– results when 637 mL of 0.583 M AgClO3 is mixed with 633 mL of 0.265 M Mn(ClO3)2?
if we assume that those molecules completely dissociate then you just have to calculate moles of each molecule from concentration and then realize that number of moles of ClO3 derived from Mn(ClO3)2 is 2 times of that Mn(ClO3)2 and thats it
I need to find for molarity not moles.
you need to find concentration right?! and how do you get concentration?! is it maybe by dividing number of moles by volume? c=n/V if so then you need to find moles in order to calculate concentration, right?
or mybe im wrong and you know some easier and more efficient way of achieving that, if so please explain so i may learn it too!
ive already figured out the moles for both substance but the question wants me to find CIO3- molarity. so would i add both volumes and divide by the sum of the moles i got?
0.705(add moles)/1.270(add ml) would tht be correct?
yes when you figure out the moles add them up and then add up the volume and divide the two numbers
ok thnk
