I didn't know where to put this but: What statement applies to the horizontal rows or periods in the periodic table? A. The properties are all the same. B. The elements have the same number of electrons. C. The properties change going across each row. D. The elements in each row combine easily.

i'd go for c because all the others are wrong. elements on the same period have the same number of electronic orbits ( where electrons are located in the atom) they generally don't have similar properties. for example |dw:1412616361411:dw| We have Lithium(Li) and an oxygen atom(O) in the same period but lithium is a metal and oxygen is a non-metal
