Write using only exponents. Please help, will medal and fan. https://cta2.owschools.com/media/g_alg02_2013/5/t1.gif

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

36x^-4y^2z^0 -------------- 5x^2y^-3z^-2 are these correct wrote ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

@jhonyy9 @JFraser @amistre64 @dan815 @undeadknight26 @gorv

OpenStudy (jfraser):

i don't know what that's supposed to mean, sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to rewrite the equation using only positive exponents

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

36x^-4y^2z^0 -------------- 5x^2y^-3z^-2 so then you know that x^-4 = 1/x^4 and z^0 = 1 so in denominator y^-3 =1/y^3and z^-2 =1/z^2 ok ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

can you rewrite it now ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

courage this is easy

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so the numerator will be 36y^2 ------ x^4 then the denominator how will be ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

5x^2 ------- y^3z^2

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so this mean 36y^2 ------ x^4 ---------- = ? 5x^2 ------ y^3z^2 hope you know how divide two fractions ,yes ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so multiplie first by second inversed ,what mean 36y^2 y^3z^2 ------ * --------- = x^4 5x^2 so and now simplifie it 36y^(2+3)*z^2 36y^5z^2 -------------- = ----------- 5x^(4+2) 5x^6 hope so much that is understandably sure right easy

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

good luck bye
