It varies slightly by state, but generally "A" is the correct answer. The lemon law refers to new cars, under warranty that have a defect the dealer is not able to correct after three attempts that affects more than just the looks of the vehicle. Since you mentioned Florida, I assume that is where you are. Commonly known as Florida’s automobile "Lemon Law," the Motor Vehicle Sales Warranties Act established arbitration boards throughout the State to hear and settle complaints between car manufacturers and owners. Your lemon law period ends two years after the date of original delivery of the motor vehicle, you then have 60 days to file your State Arbitration Request with the department or, if your manufacturer participates, the State Certified Program. Consumers who are successful in Lemon Law arbitration have received either refunds or replacement vehicles. Visit the Florida Attorney General's Office website to view the list of vehicles "bought back" under Florida's Lemon Law. Hopefully this helps.
