The time the ball takes to fall from its max height is equal to the time it takes to reach its max height. Therefore, all you need to do is to find the time it takes to reach its max height, then multiply it by 2.
When the ball reaches its max height, the velocity is 0.
Apply the formula \(v_f=v_i+at\). In this case, \(a=-g\).
