help plz QAQ !!! An box contains 20 blue balls 30 yellow balls and 50 red balls.Suppose 5 balls are drawn randomly each at a time without replacement from the urn. let G be the event that exactly one ball is yellow and one ball is red among the 5 chosen balls. (a)Find the probability of Event G. (b)Find the probability of Event G given that at least three chosen balls are blue.
can you help me solve Question a QAQ
What is qaq?
a facial expressions mean i cry
Event G: Among the five chosen balls, exactly 1 ball is yellow, exactly 1 ball is red. Therefore, the remaining 3 balls must be blue. The total number of possibilities is: \[^{30}C_1 * ^{50}C_1 * ^{20}C_3\]
That above goes in the numerator. In the denominator we have total number of ways of picking 5 balls out of 100 balls: \(^{100}C_5\)
so we get the answer 30C1*50C1*20C3/100C5 in question a 0.0?
I have not done the calculations but it will be a very small number.
do you know the different between Question a and b . i very confused about it ...
i think in the question a we can get more than 1 red ball and 1 yellow ball
30C1*50C1*98C3/100C5 would be the answer?
I thought question a said EXACTLY one ball is yellow and one ball is red.
but the question a and question b would be the same question?
Looks to me that way but I am not 100% sure.
