A calorimeter is filled with 236 g of water at 18.5°C, to which 45.2 g of ammonium nitrate is added and dissolved (see reaction below). What will be the final temperature of the water once the reaction is complete? Note: the specific heat capacity for water is 4.184 J/g•K, assume that the heat capacity for the rest of the calorimeter is negligible. NH4NO3(s) → NH4+(aq) + NO3- (aq) ∆Hrxn = 27.4 kJ
