hi can someone plssss check my work to see if its correct
okay I will where is your work
ok thanks ill put it up its geometry
The figure below shows the ideal pattern of movement of a herd of cattle, with the arrows showing the movement of the handler as he moves the herd. The arc the handler makes from the starting point to the return point should be a quarter of a circle: A sector showing a quarter of a circle is drawn. The radius is marked as 85 feet. The endpoints of the arc of the sector are marked as Starting Point and Return Point. The sector is filled with cattle. Based on this theory, what distance will the handler move from the starting point to the return point if he creates an arc of a circle of radius 85 feet? 21.25 133.45 feet 66.73 feet 88.97 feet
im going to tell you what i did
ok i did 2(3.14) times 75 then i divided by 4 and got B
okay that is what I got
yay so its correct :) thank you
do you mind checking a fewmore ?
sure
ok thanks ill put it up
Barry is standing in front of a tree at point S. He can see an arc of the tree trunk that stretches from J to K measuring 58°: The figure shows a circle with points J and K on it and point S outside it. Tangents to the circle at point J and K are drawn from point S. Minor arc JK measures 58 degrees. What is the measure of angle JSK? 122° 58° 61° 116°
Major arc=58 Major arc=360-58=302 302-58=244/2=122
correct you don't need my help with this but I am still going to chech your work
lol thank you sooo much i have another one tho
A circle is represented by the equation shown below: (x - 7)2 + (y - 8)2 = 121 Which statement is true? The circle is centered at (7, 8) and has a diameter of 11. The circle is centered at (7, 8) and has a radius of 11. The circle is centered at (-7, -8) and has a radius of 11. The circle is centered at (-7, -8) and has a diameter of 11.
do you know how to solve this one idk i nedd help pls
okay hold on solving it
B
sorry my computer shut down i lost all of my work :(
im just going to strat on a new one
okay
Using the following equation, find the center and radius of the circle. You must show all work and calculations to receive credit. x2 + 2x + y2 + 4y = 20
idk how to solve im bad at these
okay I am goingto send you to this site and it is going to explain to you how to solve equations and anything else you need help on okay does that sound good?
ok that sounds great thank you
you might have to make an account but I doesn't cost anything here is the link and do you have an email https://app.discoveryeducation.com/public:main/signup
yes you want it?
what do i put for title?
yes and for tiltle you put other
ko
ok and can u help with one more plss i tired it but its not right
okay shoot away
A carnival ride is in the shape of a wheel with a radius of 25 feet. The wheel has 20 cars attached to the center of the wheel. What is the central angle, arc length, and area of a sector between any two cars? Round answers to the nearest hundredth if applicable. You must show all work and calculations to receive credit.
ok and ill send u my email
for that site am i supposed to be a teacher
ok... so sector angle 1st 360 in a circle... 25 cars... 360/25 = the central angle will help to tell you the fraction of the circle you are dealing with fraction = sector angle ----------- 360 the the arc length = cricumference times fraction sector area = area of crircle times fraction angle is 360/20 = 18 so the fraction is 18/360 so arc length = 7.85 ft area = 98.17 ft^2
no here I will sign up and give you the information
ok thanks pleasssse do
okay sent u a message containing some information for the link that I sent you so use that an look up anything that you need to
omg thanks your so kind god bless you :)
ill let you know how it goes
okay hope to hear from u soon
im going to send u my email
Quadrilateral OPQR is inscribed inside a circle as shown below. What equation would be needed to solve for angle Q? What is the measure of angle Q? You must show all work and calculations to receive credit. Circle N is shown with an incsribed quadrilateral labeled OPQR. O is labeled 2x degrees. P is labeled y degrees. Q is labeled 2x plus 4 degrees. R is labeled 3y plus 8 degrees.anybody know how to do this one ?
O = (2x) Q = (2x + 4) O + Q = 180 This gives us the equation: 2x + (2x + 4) = 180 The measure of angle Q is the soulution of that equation.
what is the measure for Q tho u dont get it ?
oh i solve rite?
is it 44?
no that is what I am doing just want ot give you that much
yes it is 44
ohh ok thanks lol ill post the next one and tell u what i got
Using the following equation, find the center and radius of the circle. You must show all work and calculations to receive credit. x2 + 2x + y2 + 4y = 20 x2 + 2x + y2 + 4y = 20 (x2 + 2x) + (y2 + 4y) = 20
thats what i got so far
this one I don't know how to do that well
ok lol im going to just leave it like that
Prove that the two circles shown below are similar.
thtas the last one lol
