I searched it...And this looks reasonable to me.
The ball reaches zero velocity when dH/dt = 0
d/dt(-16t² + 35t + 0) = -32t + 35
When -32t + 35 = 0 then t = 35/32
Substituting this value in the equation gives :
H(t) = -16(35/32)² + 35(35/32) = -19.141 +38.281 = 19.14 feet
Then answer (d) 19.1 feet is the required option.
