When trying to find how many moles of atomd are there in 40.1 grams of calcium (Ca) I know I would multiply the given number by calcium's atomic mass but what do I do after that ?

Since you want grams to cancel out, you would need to use the (1 mol / Ca atomic mass). So you're dividing. That will give you your mols.
