arctan(x)/sqrt(x) dx

OpenStudy (freckles):

\[\int\limits_{}^{}x^\frac{-1}{2} \arctan(x) dx\] let u=sqrt(x) so u^2=x so 2udu=2x so we have \[\int\limits_{}^{}u^{-1} \arctan(u^2) 2u du \] u^(-1)*u=1 So anyways now I would do integration by parts.

OpenStudy (freckles):

But that still may not be the easiest way...

OpenStudy (freckles):

i wonder if this was meant to be definite integral instead...
