nope.... the 56 degrees doesn't correlate to the "x" angle...... in this case

yeap IF x = 28 degrees then it becomes equal to its alternate interior angle up above and thus the lines are indeed parallel

yeap so we can say that |dw:1413502600561:dw| recall that there are only 360 degrees if you go around so we have 76 = R or 76 + 76 + Q + ? = 360 BUT Q and ? are both equal to each other since they're vertical angles or Q = ? so we can say that \(\bf 76+76+Q+\square =360\implies 152+Q+\square=360 \\ \quad \\ Q+\square=360-152\qquad {\color{brown}{ Q=\square \implies 2Q}}\implies 2Q=360-152 \\ \quad \\ Q=\cfrac{360-152}{2}\)
