can anyone help me with this question?

Elsa213 (elsa213):

239

Elsa213 (elsa213):

i think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no you are suppose to find whats wrong with the question

OpenStudy (cloverracer):

In standard scientific notation, it has be to a number from 1-9 followed by a decimal. 0.239 is incorrect because there isn't a number from 1-9 before the decimal.

sammixboo (sammixboo):

I believe when you are writing things in scientific notation this number \(\sf \color{olive}{0.239}\) should be \(\sf \color{olive}{2.39}\). Take a look here -> http://www.purplemath.com/modules/exponent3.htm <-

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Follow @CloverRacer her explanation is way better than mine o _ o *cough*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you guys so much
