Well these are points. We can identify slope by looking at how steep it is; \(slope=\dfrac{rise}{run}\)

No, maybe we can locate points, then we check how "much" rise and run is. How about these points?

Right! for each run 1, we do down by 4. (-4) So our slope is \(\dfrac{-4}{1}=\underline{-4}\)

So now we know slope. we can eliminate A, B, and C, because slope is not -4. Does that make sense so far?
