OpenStudy (micahm):

For each metal that participated in a chemical change, write the type of metal it is, based on your examination of the periodic table. I don't understand this

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

can be an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, or transition metals?

OpenStudy (micahm):

but do they participated in a chemical change

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

yes most of them does, they can make oxides, hydroxides, salts, Ionic compounds most of the time

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

do you have a list of metals? or something else linked to this question?

OpenStudy (micahm):

as in a source

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

what it refers for each metal that participates in a chemical reaction? it is part of a lab report? you did experiments with different metals?

OpenStudy (micahm):

i use wakipdia but that not helping i am with k12 and the toutal don't give much info

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

look at the second paragraph in this page it has the same question that you are trying to answer, but is referring to some experiments or something done before http://pastebin.com/yvULzJdJ (5 points) 2. For each metal that participated in a chemical change, write the type of metal it is, based on your examination of the periodic table. Answer: Ammonium Vanadate appears to be mostly a post transition metal. Manganese sulfate also has more post transition atoms than transition atoms. Iron nitrate is a transition metal. The cobalt nitrate is a transition metal. Copper nitrate is a transition metal. Zinc nitrate is also a transition metal.

OpenStudy (micahm):

ok how did you come to that

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

I just google the question that you posted

OpenStudy (micahm):

ok i google this question Were there any metallic compounds that did not react with either the acid or the base? Write the type of metal, based on your examination of the periodic table. i use wakipdia for my search but could not find it

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

I just use google.com and i don't use any filter of any kind

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

that is the following question in the same page that I mention before http://pastebin.com/yvULzJdJ

OpenStudy (micahm):

oh ok thanks
