What is the volume of 524.24 grams of water
Volume = mass per mass specific did you know the specific mass of water ?
the specific mass of water is 1000 kg/m^3
Use the formula D = m/v D = density m = mass v = volume for water D = 1 g/ml (I think).
524.24 grams = 0.52424 Kg
So Volume = the specific mass of water times the mass of water Volume = 0.52424 times 1000 VOlume = 524,24 m^3
according to this page http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/water-density-specific-weight-d_595.html it states that density changes with temperature. That's obvious now that I think about it, but I forgot to consider it. The table says that the density is D = 1000 kg/m^3 when the temp is around 4 Celsius.
Volume = the specific mass of water times the mass of water Volume = 1000 times 0.52424 Volume = 524,24 m^3
Assume this condision under around 4 celcius
