OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

How many oxygen atoms are in the products of the following reaction? C6H12O6 + 6 H2O + 6 O2 → 6 CO2 + 12 H2O

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

(A) 24. (B) 18. (C) 6. (D) 12. (E) 2.

OpenStudy (javk):

2 oxygen atoms in each CO2 molecule, and there are 6 of those, so 6 x2=12. There are 12 Oxygen atoms in coz. + There are 12 H20 molecules, 1 Oxygen in each, therefore, there are 12 Oxygen atoms in H20 = Add them together and you get A) 24

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

originally i wanted to say 12....

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

but that didnt seem enough

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

okay awesome, do you think you can help me with a few more @Javk
