actually if you dont know anything, you can j ust plug in numbers for x and find y and then graph

for example, you are given \[\sqrt{x+1}\]

and you know some perfect square like 0,1,4,9 so to make your life easier find values where x+1=0 x+1=1 x+1=4

then after you find those values of x, you can plug it pack into your equation to find y. and you'll have a few points to help you roughly sketch your graph

when h(x) = 0 -2 = -rt (x + 1) divide by -1 and square each side 4 = x + 1 so x = 3 point (3,0) when x = 0 H(0) = 2 - rt (0 + 1) = 2 -1; 2 + 1 points (0,1) and (0, 3)
