Describe what happened when Ag+ combined with Na2CO3. what does this indicate?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AgNO3 (notice the nitrate) + Na2S in a aqueous solution gives Ag2S as precipitate. The nitrate and sodium IONs stay dissolved in the water. NO3- and NA+ are not involved in the reaction..
