hmmm there is no e^-x
so by logic the derivative is also e^-x

e^-x = 1/e^x (bottom*dtop/dx -top d bottom/dx)/bottom^2 (e^x*0 - 1*e^x)/e^2x or -e^x/e^2x = -e^-x
hmmm though I'm opne to be misaken... .I think @damonc2 may be correct on using the quotient rule
