The force of gravity on Planet B is 3.4 m/sec2. A box weighs 34 N on Earth. What is the mass of the box?

Another appallingly worded question, considering this is a PHYSICS forum. "The force of gravity on Planet B is 3.4 m/sec2". They have quoted the acceleration of gravity on planet B, NOT the force. The units are consistent with acceleration. The weight of an object under a planet's gravity is mg you know mg for earth (= weight under 9.81m/s^2) the mass of the box is independent of which planet it is on - you can deduce it from Weight (on earth) = m * g (on earth) If the question means 'what is its weight in planet B?' then simply multiply the mass by g (for planet). How is anyone supposed to learn Physics with sloppy use of terminology like this?
