Which solution contains the greater mass of solute? 1.40 L of a 0.334 M solution or 1.10 L of a 0.420 M solution

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

what do u think?

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

just find ou the concenteration moles /litre which will tell you the greater mass of solute present !! higher the concentration higher the amount of solute :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.40 L of a .334 solution has the greater mass....it has .4676 mol where as the other one has .462 mol....does that sound right @chmvijay

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

.4676 how did u get this u just find concentration of both that moles /litre

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.40 L X .334M = .4676
