GIVING MEDALS AND FANS!REALLY NEED HELPPP,PLZ!!!! Given that P = (-9, 2) and Q = (-10, 9), find the component form and magnitude of 2(vector PQ)
the vector PQ , starting from point Q and ending at P is found by subtracting Q - P
A)<-2.-14>,SQUARE ROOT OF 100 B)<2,-14>,SQUARE ROOT OF 50 C)<-2,14>,SQUARE ROOT OF 200 D)<-38,14>,SQUARE ROOT OF 410
I calculated the component form which turned out to be <-1,7>
then i multiplied it by 2 to get <-2,14>
did i do it correct?
Q - P = <-10,9 > - < -9,2>
ok,then how do i find the magnitude?
@StarJ9 can u help me???
@perl ??
@Ash90
I don't see how it's q-p. Is P = (-9, 2) in component form? and if so wouldn't it be P =(-9i + 2j)?
that's what i dont' get.i know that the component form part is right ,but i don't get the magnitude part.
because when you have a vector start at P and end at Q , to find the vector at the origin you solve Q - P
